-
the information or documents you would like to access

How long will it take?

What happens if information cannot be made available?
If information within a document made available under this Publication Scheme is withheld, the document will be clearly marked to show where information has been removed and the exemption we have used.
If we refuse to supply all or part of any other information you have asked for we will write to you giving our reasons for refusal.
Are there any charges for supplying information?
In general, we do not intend to charge for the information provided under the Act. Publications issued in hard copy as House of Commons papers by The Stationery Office, and obtainable from them, will be charged for in accordance with their pricing policy.
If you request information not available under the Scheme, our aim is to make as much as possible available to you free of charge. However, if it takes a considerable amount of time to gather or prepare the information you want, we may charge for that work. If your request does attract any charges we will ask whether you wish to continue with the request before we undertake the work. VAT is not charged.
No charges will be made where we refuse a request for information. Nor will there be a charge to appeal against our refusal to supply the information requested or where you appeal against the charges we would make. Where the information is already available in a priced publication we will give you details of the publication and where to get it.
