40th Anniversary

The Parliamentary Ombudsman’s office celebrates its 40th anniversary in April 2007. To commemorate this event, we have:

• published a report called The Parliamentary Ombudsman: Withstanding the test of time (pdf);
  
  
• published the Principles of Good Administration;
  
  
• launched the consultation for our Principles for Remedy

We have also produced a timeline, which shows significant events in the history of the Parliamentary Ombudsman over the past 40 years.
