Some of you may have received one or more secure emails from us between Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th November using Egress encryption. We have now been made aware that some organisations need more time to prepare to receive encrypted Egress messages. As a result we are not going to fully roll out this system for securing emails until we leave the Public Services Network (PSN) in early 2016. Until then, emails will be sent via the PSN or using alternative methods to secure information such as password protection.

If you have any concerns or queries, please send an email to so that we can assist you with any preparation for our Egress deployment or answer any questions you might have about our PSN exit.
