Summary of the general public survey
More likely
We asked the 11 per cent of people who originally said the MP filter would make them more likely to use the Parliamentary Ombudsman why this was (they were allowed to choose multiple reasons). 46 per cent of those (108) thought that an MP’s involvement would lead to their complaint being given more serious consideration and 22 per cent said they would prefer someone else to advocate their case.
Support for MP involvement remains, and for a variety of reasons
Q: Why did you say you would be more likely to use this service?
