The Information Promise

The Information Promise

The Information Promise sets out the standards that members of the public, bodies in the Ombudsman’s jurisdiction and others can expect from the Ombudsman’s Office when handling, storing, protecting and sharing information.

On 8 November 2011 we launched a public consultation on the Information Promise. That consultation is now closed but the documents are still available on our website for reference. We will publish a  summary of responses and next steps soon.
