- Miss M understandably feels that her mother’s lifelong mental illness could and should have been addressed more actively towards the end of her life, and that this might have reduced her physical incapacity. However, the evidence we have seen does not support a conclusion that the Trust and the Council failed to assess and provide for her mother’s health and social needs properly from 2004 until her death in October 2009. Therefore, we do not uphold Miss M’s complaints.
