This short paper highlights that demand for public service ombudsman schemes is rising across the UK.
It includes analysis of data from the:
- Northern Irish Public Services Ombudsman
- Scottish Public Services Ombudsman
- Public Services Ombudsman for Wales
- Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman
- Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman
- Housing Ombudsman.
To better understand these trends, we are planning a research project that will look at drivers of future demand on our service and how we can best respond.
