We make final decisions on complaints that have not been resolved by the NHS in England and UK government departments, and other UK public organisations. We do this independently and impartially.
We were set up by Parliament to provide an independent complaint handling service. We are not part of Government, the NHS in England, or a regulator.
We are neither a consumer champion nor arbitrator. Our service is free for everyone.
About the role
We are looking for a talented and driven leader to join our organisation as Chief of Staff, to work with the Chair and Chief Executive as they modernise our service and secure justice for citizens affected by public service failure.
The Chief of Staff will coordinate and progress corporate priorities internally and externally, as well as providing strategic and policy advice to our senior leaders.
They will also run the Executive Office, which provides administrative support to our senior leadership team.
