Dr Mark Chakravarty is Vice Chair and Lead Non-Executive Director for Appeals at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and a non-executive director at Health Innovation Manchester.
He has more than 30 years of international leadership experience across healthcare, life sciences, technology and consumer sectors and previously served on the board of the Care Quality Commission.
His career includes senior leadership roles at Novartis Pharmaceuticals as Chief Communications and Patient Officer and at Procter & Gamble, where he was a global Chief Communications Officer for a major division of the business.
A qualified physician with degrees in medicine and pharmacology, he focuses on using data and technology to improve public health outcomes.
