Reference FDN 229501 | July 2015

Thank you for your query of 17 July 2015 in which you asked:

“I can't find information on your website as to what percentage of the time you find in favour of the complainant, and what percentage of the time you find in favour of doctors being complained about. Would you please let me know these figures. Thank you.”

First it might be helpful if I explain that we do not record the outcomes of our investigations as having found in favour of any particular party or person. Complaints are either not upheld or upheld in full or in part. Please find in the table below a breakdown of the outcomes of health investigations we concluded for the years 2013/14 and 2014/15. Please note that these are investigations about NHS bodies, not just Doctors.
