A new way to view our annual complaints data

Digital Communications Officer

We’ve published our annual complaints data for 2024 to 2025, and it’s now much easier to explore.

What’s new

Each year, we publish data on the number of complaints we’ve received about the NHS in England and UK government departments, along with the decision we made at each stage in the process.

We’ve improved the way we publish this data to make it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for. Improvements include:

  • search and filtering to help you find specific organisations
  • improved navigation
  • a new layout so the information is easy to scan and understand.

What users told us

Before launch, we tested the page with several organisations we investigate, including Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). The feedback was overwhelmingly positive:

A government organisation told us the site was:

‘really clear and easy to use’

And an NHS organisation told us:

We’ll be using this all the time, especially when we’re pulling together reports.

They highlighted how valuable the new page will be for compiling annual reports and sharing insights across their organisations.

What’s next

As this is a new way to display the data, we’re keen to hear your thoughts. We’ll continue to review your suggestions for future improvements.

This project is part of our ongoing work to make complaints data transparent, accessible and practical.

Explore the new complaints data page and let us know what you think. We’d love your feedback.
