About us

We are the final stage for complaints about the NHS in England and public services delivered by the UK Government. We look into complaints where someone believes there has been injustice or hardship because an organisation has not acted properly or fairly or has given a poor service and not put things right.

Our service is free for everyone.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, creative communications officer to join our small, busy communications team in central London. You will work across both external and internal communications to support the team in promoting our service, engaging our staff, and protecting and enhancing our reputation.

You’ll be working across media, digital, social, stakeholder and internal channels to deliver content that brings our work alive to a wide range of audiences, tailoring messages and style accordingly. You will also support the delivery of a variety of projects and events, ensuring tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard.

This is a varied and fast-paced role that would suit someone with a can-do attitude and first-rate communication skills.

We’re looking for someone with a track record of supporting the delivery of communications plans and campaigns in complex organisations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong customer focus and will be comfortable working to tight deadlines and juggling a heavy workload. In return, we offer flexible working and generous annual leave entitlements.

Able to influence others, above all, you’ll be a great team player and keen to get stuck in and work collaboratively with your colleagues throughout the organisation.
