We offer a generous basic holiday entitlement of 30 days and 2.5 days statutory holiday as well as the normal public and bank holidays.

This allows you to vary your start and finish times and build up a bank of additional hours worked which you can then take as flexible leave. Flexible working is available to all but very senior staff.
Learning and development
We offer a range of development opportunities to support our staff in carrying out their job roles successfully, including training courses, on-the-job training, coaching and mentoring. We also provide access to an online learning portal.
We run a bursary scheme annually. You can apply for financial support for more formal development, including professional qualifications that will be of benefit to both yourself and the organisation.

We participate in the Principal Civil Service Pension scheme. The pension scheme is a defined benefit scheme that provides retirement benefits based on career average earnings and length of service. Both employee and employer contributions are based on salary level.
Childcare vouchers are designed to help working parents with their childcare costs. Parents can choose to exchange part of their salary for vouchers which can be used to pay for a range of childcare options such as nurseries, play schemes, out-of-hours school clubs and holiday camps, for children up to 15 years.
The Bicycle Loan Scheme is a Government approved initiative. It allows you to pay for the cost of a bicycle (up to a maximum of £1,000) as a loan which is deducted from your gross salary.
Season ticket loans
We offer our staff a salary advance to pay for a season ticket for home to office travel or for a car parking season ticket used for travel to the office.
If you are a member of a recognised gym and make regular monthly payments for your membership, you can apply for our gym subsidy. This is an annual allowance of £120 that is made in monthly installments over 12 months to help with the cost of your membership.
Employee assistance programme
Our staff have access to a free employee helpline so you can speak to professionals and counsellors for advice about your personal, financial and emotional challenges.
We are keen to make sure that our staff can remain members of professional bodies during their employment with us. We pay the annual membership fee where membership is relevant to your role in our organisation.
